PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response course (EFR+CFC), is designed to help individuals in situations where they might need to use first aid. For the course to be successful, you will need the proper equipment. You can rent gear. For more information, click here. For those who have some experience but want to refresh their skills, this course can also be used as a refresher.

Content

EFR is a great tool to improve your ability to manage medical emergencies and increase your confidence. The course teaches simple procedures for emergency care and gives participants hands-on practice in a stress-free environment. Self-study books, video demonstrations, quick reference cards, and video tutorials are included in the course materials. It meets all the requirements to be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and professional rating.

CPR, rescue breathing (scene assessment), and basic first-aid are just some of the courses. You will also learn how you can treat common diving injuries. This includes learning to bandage, prevent, and splint. Students will also learn how they can protect themselves from dangerous pathogens. This course helps you respond to potentially life-threatening circumstances and save lives.

Pre-requisites

The PADI Emergency First Response course is a one-day program that focuses on teaching participants how to respond in time to a life-threatening medical emergency. The program includes classroom theory and skills development as well as real-life scenario practice. There are no age restrictions or pre-requisites for this course.

EFR Refresher Course is for people who want a refresher course. This course includes two parts: a Skill Building session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. You will be updated on the latest developments in CPR/first aid during the refresher course. The AED will also be taught. In addition, you will learn how to instruct people on how to perform these skills in case of an emergency.

This is a great course to get your skills up to par and help you meet the requirements for PADI Rescue Diver. It also meets the requirement for the Professional Rescue Diver course and other courses that require CPR training. It also includes an Emergency First Response Video, which helps participants prepare for emergencies and preview the skills that they will practice during the skills development session.

Cost

The Emergency First response course is a course lasting half a day that teaches emergency management skills. The course fees include the manual and two years of PADI certification fees.
