Maxwel Hohn is an experienced adventurer, filmmaker, and photographer with more than 4000 dives. He lives in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. There he enjoys exploring and the underwater world. Hollis Scuba gear is used to help him improve his skills and aid in his projects.
Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis, a pioneer in the diving industry and a local legend, is a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. He started diving in the mid 1950s and discovered a passion for underwater photography. This hobby required special equipment. Hollis' engineering degree allowed him to design his own housings for underwater camera. Hollis started Anchor Shack, an underwater camera store in Hayward (California) in 1965. He started receiving mail orders soon for his housings.
Oceanic
The Hollis Scuba Oceanic brand has become one of the most famous and well-known names in Scuba Diving. Since 1972, Bob Hollis founded the company. It is synonymous with high-quality diving equipment. The company's products include rebreathers, dive computers and novel diving masks with heads-up displays. They are also responsible for the development of military diving gear, including the MK-25 used by US Navy Navy frogmen as well as other naval work divers.

Recalled dive computers
The recalled dive computers from Hollis Scuba have several flaws that can cause a diver to drown. A faulty air flow control system in the recalled dive computers could lead to a diver losing control of their underwater breathing. These dive computers were bought between November 2010-July 2012 for around $1200. The affected units can be returned to a dealer or the factory for repair.
Warranty
Hollis Scuba Warranty will protect your investment by ensuring the equipment meets your requirements. The warranty covers recreational scuba diving as long as the equipment is properly maintained. Hollis can help you exchange or refund your equipment if you have any issues. This warranty does however not cover shipping costs. You cannot use your equipment for commercial or military purposes.
