Sipadan

Sipadan, one of the most popular spots in the Philippines for divers, lures them to dive. This area is located at the center of a coral Triangle, making it one if the most biodiverse marine habitats in the entire world. You will see turtles, sharks and lionfish in this area. The visibility ranges from 15 to 40 meters so you won't have any trouble exploring the underwater world surrounding Sipadan.

Shark Reef Marine Reserve

Some of the most spectacular dives can be experienced in the shark-rich waters at the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. As you are surrounded by many species coral and fish, a visit to the marine reserves is a memorable experience. There are 125 types of sharks as well as more than 5,000 seaweed species and mollusks. Among these diverse species of fish and corals, the heart-shaped reef formation, called Heart Reef, is an incredible site to experience. This majestic structure is 17 meters wide and is a sight to behold from the air.

Half Moon Caye Wall

You will find many marine species at this amazing dive site. Recent research has revealed that the wall is home to sharks who recently made it their home. Be on the lookout for sea fans, brain coral, or other creatures while you're there. A turtle or two might be possible. If you're feeling adventurous you can explore the underwater tunnels among coral outcrops.


Yongala

There are many ways to dive on the SS Yongala. Townsville is only 3 hours by fast boat from Townsville. Liveaboards depart every day. The dives here are about 30m deep and are best suited for Advanced certified divers. Spend a bit more money to take a day tour and dive the SS Yongala. The trip takes around three hours and includes two tank.

Punta Vicente Roca

Punta Vicente Rocca is a unique spot for scuba diving. It is only 200 km from the nearest island. On a dive here you can see many different sea creatures, such as the Galapagos marine Iguana and red-lipped batfish. Photographers may also be able to capture the rare Galapagos flightless Cormorants.

Bonaire

Bonaire's divers will be amazed at the beauty and diversity of its diving sites. There are many outstanding dive spots on the leeward side, including the 1000 Steps, named after the narrow, long stairway that leads to it. This site is a favourite with snorkellers and divers alike, with clear water and abundant schooling fish. This dive site can be combined with Karpata, which offers amazing drop-offs.
