PADI Open Water Diver certificate

Before you can apply to become a PADI Open Water Diver, you will need to learn how to scuba dive. You can practice many specialties and build your confidence. Under the supervision of a PADI Instructor, you will practice these skills.

PADI Open Water Diving has many advantages. Not only will you learn how to scuba dive, but you'll also have the chance to interact with aquatic life. There will be 4 open water diving experiences during the course. These dives could be in the ocean, lake, or sea.

Required courses in specialty subjects

You can get your scuba certificate if you are passionate about diving into the ocean and have never been able to find the right course. PADI's scuba training courses prepare you to dive. You will learn about marine biology, underwater navigation, and basic scuba equipment. You will also learn communication skills, and how to use the underwater lights.


PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty Course - This course is great for anyone who loves to dive. It teaches divers how to identify species and groupings, as well as the relationships between these species. It counts towards your Master Scuba Diver certification and is recommended to those who have a passion for aquatic life.

Cost of scuba certification

There are many factors that influence the cost of becoming scuba certified. These include the training program chosen and the number of dives performed. Average courses take 4 days and cost about $500. But, it is possible to do shorter courses. The costs of training can vary but most programs are affordable and offer multi-day courses.

The cost of certification is not covered by personal gear. A fitted mask, snorkel and wetsuit boots are all required. It's important to choose high-quality gear that is comfortable and will last for many dives. You can also spend several hundred dollars on a top-of the-line diving computer.

Online scuba certification

Online certifications can be obtained if you are interested in scuba diving certifications but don't have enough time to travel overseas. There are a number of benefits to completing an online course. You will spend less time in the classroom. You will also have the flexibility to study at your own pace. If you are interested, you can also take a practical training class after you have completed the online course.

PADI courses are available online for $129. This includes accessing your course materials, knowledge development training and course materials. However, if your budget is tight, you can still get the SSI Certification for less.
