Divers can learn valuable skills through a Dive Specialty. Divers with a Specialty learn to make a difference on every dive. These divers are often skilled in one area or a particular type of equipment. Some of these specialties include Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx), Boat Diving, and Deep Scuba. Enriched Air Nitrox
You can learn more about the benefits of enriched air by becoming a PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox). This course is a specialty that includes hands-on practice, independent study and optional two Nitrox dives. The course can either be completed online or offline. A scuba tank with special oxygen service standards is required to complete this specialization.
Underwater Photography
For those who love taking pictures, diving is a great way to expand their skills and knowledge. One of the many diving specialties is underwater photography. You will learn the basics and techniques for underwater photography in this course. Learn about underwater lighting and composition.
