White Point dive is one of the most interesting dive sites in LA. It has white bacterial mats along the bottom and is close to the hypo-thermal hotsprings. This dive site features an old shipwreck as well as rock reefs and kelp. Here you will also find giant sea stars, urchins and cold water anemones. High tide is the best time to dive.

Leo Carillo

Leo Carrillo La is a California state parks located along Los Angeles County's southern coast. It is part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and features 1.5 miles of beach that extends into the Santa Monica Mountains. You will find many opportunities to dive in the clear waters off Leo Carrillo State Park.

Divers have the option to choose from three main sites at Leo Carrillo. These sites are excellent for beginners with easy entry points. There is ample parking. They're also a popular site for night diving and lobster hunting, and there's plenty of marine life to see.

Santa Barbara Island boasts some of the best offshore diving sites. To reach these sites, visitors can board a visiting boat. On the island, visitors can also participate in kayaking and snorkeling. Tent camping is possible if it's allowed by the weather. The island is home to a large population of pinnipeds including harbor seals and northern elephant seals as well as California sea lions. Anacapa Island
