Advanced Open Water Diver Courses

scuba certified

When you're ready to take your diving skills to the next level, you should consider completing an Advanced Open Water Diver course. This course will improve your buoyancy and navigation skills, as well deep diving skills. You can also choose three specialty dives. When you complete the course, you'll be eligible for specialty certifications.

Adventure dives

To become a certified scuba diver, you must complete adventure dives. They improve your buoyancy and awareness, as well as your communication skills. You must have completed at least 5 dives to be certified. Your instructor will teach you planning and breathing techniques and how to improve your breathing.

These dives count towards your specialty and are called adventure dives. By doing this, you can choose dives which will prove useful for the future. PADI suggests divers choose dives with many objectives. This includes deep exploration and exploring wrecks and wildlife.

Night dive

Advanced Open Water Diver Course teaches students about safe diving techniques. They learn how they can breathe correctly and how to maintain their body's alignment. They also learn how dive lights work and communicate with their buddy. The students will have fun practicing their skills in shallow water by playing games.

Night diving is a great way to discover a new underwater world. It is a completely new experience, and night diving is more exciting than regular daytime diving. Night diving can be scary but it is not as difficult as one might think. Instructors will help you learn proper techniques and get you through the challenges of night diving.

Underwater naturalist dive

PADI's Underwater Naturalist course is designed to teach students how to interact in the aquatic ecosystem. Students learn about basic organism groupings and identification, how these species live in different habitats and how to practice environmentally-friendly diving. Students also learn about marine conservation and biodiversity.

PADI Underwater Naturalists is for divers who are certified as PADI Open Divers and want to dive deeper into the ocean. The course covers coral reefs, marine organisms and food chains as well as the relationships between different species. It lasts for one full day and involves two open water diving.

Peak performance buoyancy diver

It is important to know how to keep your buoyancy when diving. You must be buoyant all the time, as falling in water can cause decompression sickness. Incorrect buoyancy control can also increase the chance of getting injured by sharp rocks and marine life. PADI Peak Performance buoyancy specialty helps divers to develop proper buoyancy control.

PADI Peak Performance Bulkyancy Specialty is an intensive one-week class. It includes classroom and pool sessions along with two optional open water diving. The course teaches students to control buoyancy and aids them in moving through the water with ease. This PPB program aims to make diving more fun, easier, and more efficient.

Maximum depth at 30m/100ft

You will be able to dive down to 100 feet with the PADI Advanced Open Water course. It is dangerous to dive deeper than 100 feet. You could experience impaired cognitive function and nitrogen narcosis. It is possible to make mistakes at this level, which can lead to serious consequences. You should not dive any deeper than this depth without training.

The Advanced Open Water course is usually completed within a 1.5 to two-day period. The instructor will determine the duration of the course. You can choose to take the course on-line or at your local beach. Instructor training is necessary before the course can be taken.
