
For those interested in pursuing advanced technical diving certifications, there are several options available. TDI offers Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox, and Decompression Procedures courses. PADI offers Tec Trimix as well as Deep Diver courses. The TDI Advanced Nitrox course introduces advanced diving techniques for recreational Nitrox divers. TDI Intro course in Tech
The TDI Intro to Tech is a standalone training program that allows you to expand your recreational training and learn more advanced technical skills. It can also be used as a gateway to TDI’s more advanced courses, like Advanced Nitrox (Decompression Procedures) and Advanced Nitrox (Decompression Procedures). You can also use it to refresh those who have previously taken technical courses. During the course technical instructors from TDI will evaluate your skills.
For divers who have never dived with twin cylinders or a wing, the TDI Intro to Tech course will be helpful. It also covers advanced gas management and buoyancy control. Students will also learn situational awareness and trim skills. The course can be taught at the beach or in cenotes with similar conditions as swimming pools. Advanced gas planning techniques will be taught. This course will help you improve your open-water diving skills and teach you how to use technical equipment. Advanced gas planning techniques will be taught. It is strictly a no-decompression course, but you will be allowed to use enriched air nitrox mixes during the course.

TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course
TDI Advanced Nitrox & Deco Procedures courses are designed to prepare divers for accelerated or staged decompression. Students learn advanced gas planning techniques and management techniques in order to make sure their dives are safe. Students will also learn how manage their equipment and plan ahead for any eventualities. A TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Methods course includes four dives that can reach a maximum depth to 40 meters (130 ft).
This course is available as either a standalone or part of an Advanced Nitrox or Decompression Procedures certificate. Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures courses can be taken as a performance-based course and last for 4 days. Students complete six dives and two dives below 30 meters. The course is tailored to the students' experience and individual needs. This course prepares students for advanced technical diving, including wrecks in Scapa Flow and the UK.
PADI Tec Trimix course
PADI Tec Trimix90 is the final stage in the PADI Technical Diver circuit. This certification course opens doors to deeper dives and allows divers to discover new places. This course is intended for experienced tec divers looking to increase their skills and explore deeper areas. A valid dive license is required. You also need to pass a medical check in order to be certified as trimix diving. You will need two 30cf stage bottles, a face mask and a pair of fins for this certification.
For the PADI Tec Trimix course, the Tec Trimix 65 diver must have logged at least 350 dives, including at least 50 decompression dives with a trimix less than 21 percent oxygen. The course also includes technical diving techniques. There are multiple teaching scenarios. It is the most advanced course in technical diving certification. The requirements for this course are higher than the PADI Tec Diver course.

PADI Tec Deep Diver course
PADI Tec Deep Diver certification for recreational divers is an advanced course. This certification includes four dives. It also covers safety stops and descents. The technical diving equipment you use, such as a side mounted cylinder and EANx, will be practiced. Also, you'll learn how to plan a deep dive as well as manage your gas supply. You can choose to take your lessons online, or offline. The PADI Tec eLearning course allows you to work at your own pace.
This program can be completed in just two years unlike the PADI courses. First, you must be certified by Tec 50 from an approved organization. The certification must include technical deep diving, pure oxygen diving, and decompression diving to 50 metres. The Tec Deep Instructor course can also be taught by the PADI Course director. Upon completion of the Tec Deep Instructor course, the PADI Course Director will issue you a Tec Deep Diver certification.
