Students must complete relevant sections and complete an e-record to complete the course. The Advanced Open Water course consists of four main sections: recreational, theoretical, and practical.


The Advanced Open Water Divers course builds on knowledge from the Open Water Divers course. It teaches advanced skills and techniques, including navigation, buoyancy, and deep diving. Students will be able to participate in three specialty dives. One may count towards specialty certification. The course is designed to improve confidence and competence. This course is often recommended after the PADI Open Water Divers course. This course teaches divers how safe and responsible they can dive in all conditions.

Equipment required
